Before joining a Google Meet with abilities to speak, use camera, and share your screen, you may need to change your settings in system preferences.

1.  Click "System Preferences" shown in the message and follow the prompts to continue to System Preferences

2.  Click "open system preferences"

3. Once opened,  it should direct you to the Privacy tab and Google Chrome should show in the box on the right.  Be sure to checkmark Google Chrome (you may need to unlock with your password to make this change)

Once done,  quit the meeting and re-login to the meeting, and you should now have permission to present/share your screen.

If the above steps aren't going as shown,  you can follow a manual process below:

    1.  On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, click Security & Privacy.

    2. Click on the privacy tab

    3. The panel on the left shows a list of applications that will need to be modified, and must be done individually. Modify Camera, Microphone, and Screen Recording.

3. Unlock your system preferences by clicking the padlock and entering your password.

4. Click the small box to the left of the app (Google Chrome) that you are granting access to.

5. Quit the Meeting, reopen, and rejoin the meeting.
