Prerequisites: Ideally you'll want to be on Nomad version 1.2 or higher - but try regardless as this is pilot-only
Please follow the steps below when IT support team directs you to:
1. Logout of your user account on your Mac by going to Apple Logo top left of your screen, and choosing Log Out from the dropdown.
2. When logging back in, you will see a new login window via Nomad Login that may look something like this
3. Enter your Aon ID + the usual password you use to login to your Mac
4. Once you are logged in to your desktop, restart your computer
5. Once back at your desktop after the restart, please log in to VPN using your Aon Email and current Aon Password
6. Soon after, you should be prompted to sign into Nomad - if not, please quit and restart Nomad. Then once re-launched, use your Aon ID and current Aon Password. Once you are logged into Nomad, your password age will show and a green checkmark will appear inside the Nomad triangle
7. NOTE: If Nomad notices that your passwords are out of sync, you will see the prompt below
8. If you see this, please enter the local password you have used to log into your mac as it is likely different than the password you use for VPN/Aon-related access
9. Click sync, and Nomad will sync your Aon and Local passwords together and this will make sure your Aon/Local mac passwords are the same - making it easy to login from startup again without needing to use an old password ever again.
10. This should complete the setup for Demobilization - your user account on your Mac is now Local which will now make it easier to manage your password with no more confusing syncing issues!
