Have you seen this error lately?

If you have,  it's caused by OKTA not be able to verify your identity and likely that following is true:

1.  While disconnected from VPN or the Aon network, you've attempted to connect to your Aon email (or some other Aon network-dependent OKTA based login)

2.  While connected via VPN/Aon Network,  you entered your password incorrectly too many times and OKTA has locked your account for security

Steps to take:

(a) While working remotely,  be sure to verify that you are successfully connected to the Aon network via VPN. To verify,  Global Protect should show "connected" when you click on the grey globe icon,  and Nomad in most cases should display your password age.  For more help with this,  search the knowledge base on Global Protect login

(b) When in doubt, do a computer restart,  reconnect to Global Protect using the method outlined in the kbase to ensure your connection is established,  then try again.

(c) Also be sure you are typing accurate info in the fields required for the login you're trying to access (i.e., some fields require your Aon Email and password,  some require your Aon ID and password)

(d) In some cases,  errors in URL's can be stored in a bookmark you have and cause errors with access.  For example,  if trying to access your Aon email from a bookmark and an error returns,  be sure to try using a new browser (safari or firefox) and go to mail.aon.com,  rather than attempting to load mail from your bookmark that may have a bad URL/link stored.  If you discover you can access Aon Mail on another browser,  but cannot on Chrome,  then be sure to clear your Chrome Browser's cache.  You can use the following link to do so
